Building a Digital Kit
Build digital kits for units you teach in your curriculum! Digital Kits are collections of digital materials that include audio, video, pictures, and teacher materials that are based upon a unit of instruction. Once the kit is compiled, burn CDs to distribute to students or place the kit on a shared server for all staff and students to access. Students may then use the materials in the kits to create reports and projects filled with rich media that helps in communicating their vision of a particular topic. Ultimately, students will become familiar enough with the digital resources and technology so that they can create and research their own resources.

You will get hands-on practice using Microsoft PhotoStory, as well as other free, web-based tools like VoiceThread, to create digital riddles and poetry.
